Though a general perception is that the next lok sabha election in India is a cakewalk for BJP as there are no visible signs Congress has become enough stronger to make a comeback in the next Lok Sabha elections but political pundits have identified some reasons that can make it difficult for BJP to win 17th Lok Sabha election.
According to the political pundits, BJP has several challenges that it needs to come over to ensure a stronger victory in Next Lok Sabha election in India.
From their recent statements, some BJP ministers seem to be sure of the prospects of winning next Lok Sabha election. But pundits believe that they are overlooking several challenges that may make victory tough for them next lok sabha election in India.
The current president of BJP Mr. Amit Shah recently in a tweet said: “Keep watching, the 2019 (Lok Sabha election) victory would be bigger than the previous one (2014).” But it was learnt that soon after this tweet he was advised by Prime Minister to stop thinking about the Next Lok Sabha Election and instead focus on the developmental agenda of the party.
According to insiders, PM told his party members to ensure mass participation in the Government schemes rather than eying on the Next Lok Sabha election in the country. These two statements contrasted each other as one of the two top BJP leaders in the country seemed overconfident and the other stressed on the need to generate mass participation in the party.
According to political pundits, there could be two reasons why Amit Shah presented a rosy picture of the party for the Next Lok Sabha elections. One he is not aware of the challenges the Center is facing or it was just an attempt to galvanize the party cadre.
According to political experts, there are two kinds of scenarios for BJP this. One if it accepts challenges, the 17th Lok Sabha election will be a cakewalk for it and if it undermines the challenges, then it can even lose next Lok Sabha election in India.

On the Price rise, Congress has taken jibe on BJP many times in the parliament and outside. Rahul Gandhi has been consistently targeting BJP over the increasing price of Petrol and other products.
The dip in the GDP growth to a record low in the last three years during April- June is perhaps the biggest failure of Modi Government and now it will be a challenge for it to take it above expected 6.5.
According to political experts, there are two kinds of scenarios for BJP this.
